Are you a Circular Economy enthusiast? Are you looking to have a real impact on your community? Do you want to be a co-creator of a project focused on creating social and environmental value? Then come with us !! 🤩

CEC Almada is part of the international networking group Circular Economy Club and it was founded in 2020 with the aim of facilitating and accelerating the local transformation to the Circular Economy.

This is a 100% voluntary and non-profit initiative, whose main objectives are:

​

• Mapping the projects, initiatives and companies that are promoting the Circular Economy in Almada;

• Identifying the main opportunities, challenges and solutions in order to accelerate the Almada transformation  to the Circular Economy

• Promote networking and debate among several relevant actors in order to foster potential collaborations, ideas, etc;

• Encourage the introduction of Circular Economy the educational programme in schools and universities;

• Streamline actions that raise awareness, educate and empower the Almadense population regarding the importance of the Circular Economy model and the transition to it;

• Promote the recovery of the local economy through the application of the principles, concepts and best circular practices.

  2. All the municipality's initiatives related to Circular Economy;

  3. Local circular professionals and jobs;

  4. Ideas for circular initiatives and companies and mentoring;

  5. Circular economy learning contents;

• Development of partnerships and recruitment of volunteers and sponsors;

• Monthly talk.
